2018 Graduate and OGA Alumni Kayli Tran, competed in her first collegiate meet last weekend for Seattle Pacific University against Oregon State University and Centenary College. Kayli earned a huge score of 9.80 on Beam for the SPUGS! Not only was her score the highest for her team, but it was also the 3rd highest score of the entire meet. Way to start off the season Kayli!
After 13 years of high level competitive gymnastics, Chase Farris decided to focus her sights and skillset to collegiate diving, which immediately proved to be a great transition for her. Chase was a National Championship qualifier and currently competes for University of Houston… on a full ride scholarship no less! Chase is undefeated on Tower as a first year NCAA competitor. So awesome!
Both Kayli and Chase were Level 10 gymnasts and long time team members, calling Olympica their second home for many years. Both young ladies earned State and Regional titles competing under the OGA flag– their banners can be seen up on our wall in the gym, so check em out! You make us all so proud, girls. Best of luck in 2020 with your athletic and scholastic endeavors alike.
