A BIG congratulations to Olympica’s team girls on a job well done at the Level 6-10 State Gymnastics Championships!  The meet took place on March 15th-17th, in Palm Desert and included  gymnasts from all over Southern California.  Our gymnasts put on a great performance and left with a ton of hardware in their hands!

“LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Over the weekend, the Olympica Gymnastics Academy competitive team participated in the 2019 So Cal Level 6-10 State Championships at the Westin Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage, CA.

Laguna Niguel resident and Level 6 gymnast, Kylie Phillips, took home the State Vault Champion title scoring a 9.000. She also earned the silver on beam (9.575), the bronze on bars (9.350), and the silver in the All-Around (37.375) in the Child 10B division.

Teammate Audrey Jackson, also from Laguna Niguel, was the Level 6 silver medalist on beam with a 9.625 in the Child 10A division. Addison Malue, of Mission Viejo, took the bronze on vault, scoring a 9.125 in the Level 6 Child 11B division.

Kaitlyn Driessen of Rancho Mission Viejo was the Level 8 beam champion, scoring a 9.750 in the Junior 12B division. She also brought home the silver medal in the All-Around with a 38.175. Driessen qualified as a State Team Member and will compete for TEAM SOCAL at the Regional Championships in Reno, Nevada in April.

“Twenty of Olympica Gymnastics Academy’s gymnasts qualified to move on and compete at Regional Championships,” spokesperson Nicole Rusin said.”
